Years Experience
My path started on a factory floor in Wesel, Germany, as an apprentice lathe operator and from there it’s taken me through project engineering, product lifecycle management, and R&D leadership roles across Berlin, Grenoble, Hyderabad, Shanghai, and now Querétaro. Along the way I’ve built a new R&D hub from the ground up, closed portfolio gaps through international collaboration, and led teams of up to 30 people through the discipline of Lean development. I speak five languages, I’ve written a book and a handful of papers on high-voltage engineering, and if there’s one thing two decades of moving between countries and cultures has taught me, it’s that one may be faster alone, but reaches further with a team.

My professional journey began with hands-on technical training. This early experience gave me a practical foundation in engineering, precision, discipline, and problem-solving.
My professional interests continue to evolve around engineering, R&D, digitalisation, technology leadership, transformation, and knowledge-sharing.
Alongside my professional work, I contribute through technical publications, conferences, peer reviewing, and academic engagement.
I believe a career is not simply a sequence of positions. It is a continuous journey of learning, building, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow.
Building knowledge, driving innovation, and growing through collaboration
